The Rose Room Revue

The Rose Room Revue is a weekly songwriter showcase that we host every Thursday night at 7:30 PM in our cozy upstairs dining room.
Each week we invite a national, regional or local touring artist to perform a "feature" set. This allows you to enjoy some fine music in an intimate listening environment. The feature artist will play a 45-minute to one hour set, usually starting at 9:00 PM. Before and after the feature artist, we open up the Rose Room stage to anyone who wishes to play a 15 to 20 minute set.
During the feature set we "pass the hat" to help to support the artist. All performers, featured or otherwise, are encouraged to have CD's and cassettes available for purchase, performance calendars, bumper stickers, t-shirts and mailing list signup sheets. We believe in shameless self-promotion!
Open mic performers are also encouraged to have CD's and cassettes available for purchase, performance calendars and mailing list signup sheets.
If you would like to sign up to play at the Rose Room Revue, please contact us here.

This Week's Feature
Carl Cacho
Carl Cacho has firmly established himself as one of the most talented and respected singer/songwriters in New England. Boston Music Award Nominee for Outstanding New Singer/Songwriter, winner of the Rose Garden Coffeehouse Singer/Songwriter Competition and finalist in both the Telluride Troubadour and Sierra Songwriter's Festival songwriting contests, his songs and disarming performing style have made him a favorite at venues across the Northeast. Folk legend Tom Rush personally selected Carl to perform with him at a "Club 47" show at Harvard University's Sanders Theater and Carl was invited to participate in the Fifth Annual Martha's Vineyard Singer/Songwriter Retreat, started by Christine Lavin.
